Tree nursery A & E Maaijen chooses to grow trees in an organic way as much as possible. To this end, the company works with nature instead of fighting against it. The disease control of trees is left as much as possible to the natural enemies of the pathogens. Tree nursery A & E Maaijen only uses natural pesticides or expellers. In exceptional cases and if all else fails, chemical agents are used as limited as possible. This is done very selectively so that the rest of nature does not suffer. Because of this way of growing, we have a large amount of beneficial insects and other biological life in our plants at our nursery. Our company has also made further progress in exporting plants to countries within Europe. Our foreign customers come from, among others, Germany, Denmark, Poland, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic. The clientele varies from small, specialist garden centers to wholesalers and exporters who deliver outside Europe. We also have our company inspected 4 times a year by the Nak Horticulture for export to Canada.
